Homeschool Netcast Network

I think it important to constantly be learning. Even as an adult there is much wisdom yet to be gained. To this end, I have been spending a great deal of time squeezing in some extra reading and listening to short lectures which are helping to expand my realm of knowledge.

While I genuinely enjoy TED-Ed, they only speak to education in general and not to the specific needs or concerns of homeschoolers. I also find that the lectures are never from a Christian perspective, which I also find important.

I recently had the pleasure of coming across Homeschool Netcast Network and it has been an amazing blessing. There you will find an array of resources for the Christian homeschooling community.

homeschool-netcast-networkMr. McKoy has thoughtfully laid out the Homeschool Netcast website in such a way as to make everything easily accessible and a breeze to navigate.

  • Blog – An insightful collection of posts from Mr. McKoy on all things education.
  • Newbie – For those new to homeschooling, you might wish to spend a little time here.
  • Watch Live – Every Thursday evening, you can watch Mr. McKoy live as he discusses important topics and interviews prominent figures in the homeschooling community.
  • Free Stuff & More!

Under the “Newbie” section, make a point of listening to previous homeschool conventions and helpful interviews.

While listening to Homeschool Netcast, I have been able to learn a great deal about high school courses, prepping for the SAT/ACT tests, how to get my kid into college for free, and so much more!

If you have a few moments, head on over and take a look for yourself. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

Is there a website or radio program that you feel we’d benefit from visiting? Please share….
