The girls were so excited to find this waiting for them in the mail; we weren’t expecting another package. So, as you can imagine, they snatched it up right away and took turns reading through.

  1. I’ve been surprised at the number of figures of speech and idioms found in the Little House series. We’re finishing up Little Town on the Prairie right now.

    • Great stories! Isn’t it amazing how these (idioms) are all over the place, but sometimes we fail to use them as teaching moments? My girls really enjoyed reading through the Little House series.
