  1. Our homeschooling came to an end as of September 2015. My youngest son is attending Calvin College in Michigan. Our oldest son got married in August and he is living in Pittsburgh attending Carnegie-Mellon. He’s working on a PhD in chip design. I’m not telling you this to brag about how well they have done (just a little bragging?). I’m telling you that, despite some real life-challenges and wrong turns, they have both gotten into college, are happy and are doing well. Those are the upbeat things that happened this year. The downbeat things? My dad died, I had cancer surgery and my sister is dying. So I’m very very thankful for all that is going well. Happy New Year.
