God didn’t call us to homeschool because we had it all together or because we were such incredible people. He called us to homeschooling because He wanted this for our children and He asked us to be faithful. He isn’t asking us to be perfect, He’s asking us to be obedient to His call.
Each of us is still a work in progress, being molded by our Creator into something better. Allow God to use your imperfect self to bring Him glory. Step out in faith, knowing He will see you through. You can do all things in Christ!
“Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus”

A Homeschool Mom 
My prayer, every day is that God will help me give my children what they need…and everything I miss that he will fail not to grant them. My fear of homeschooling was that they would miss out on classroom activities and friends. I am a previous elementary teacher and knew I could fulfill their needs academically. I wanted them to be involved with other children and extra-curricular activities.
I quickly found that there was nothing to fear. My children have so many activities that I can’t keep up. They have other homeschool families they meet up with weekly and enjoy spending time with. It also allows me to have a community of like-minded women.
I agree, we are still a work in progress by our creator. That is the encouragement I need each and every day as I know I can’t do it alone.

I already knew, as a product of homeschooling myself, that we would homeschool our children. What I didn’t anticipate was the learning and growth that would happen in me, as a result of homeschooling our own children. It’s been a ride that I wouldn’t trade for the world (yes, even on THOSE days). I know for a fact that God will continue to use homeschooling to teach and to mold me. God Bless!
