Wow! Time sure has flown by quickly. The first quarter of our “school year” has ended and we are already forging ahead into the second.
This coming quarter should prove even more exciting; we have co-op, Family Fun Night, Thanksgiving, Christmas with a longer holiday break than we’ve taken in the past (silly me for not having done this before!), New Years, and so much more!
So far our year has been especially blessed. Things are running fairly smooth and we are learning so much. There is so much new territory we are covering this year and we are all chomping at the bit to see where this leads.
What better way to celebrate the ending of this first portion of the year than a women’s tea? My mother, my aunt, and I will be attending a special tea this weekend. I think this comes at a great time; a refreshing day before tackling the next section of our learning year.
The year started off on a great foot; we look forward to seeing what the rest of the year holds.

Such a good question! This morning we’re actually having a mom’s coffee (homeschool group) and that is our very topic!

Thank you for allowing me to stop and drink the coffee (no roses avaiulable)…and ponder. Well, fractions are finally coming along, Latin is exciting, History/Geography is doing well and Science is zooming along (as usual, we love Science). We learned A LOT. You are right. Oh, it makes me feel so much better to talk to you. Thanks again for allowing to ponder.

It’s about time! We have been fighting Latin and fractions since May. Hallelujah. We are finally there.

We have started accepting other students in our home this year and it has been a very successful cottage school! Great job getting through the first quarter. Here is to a great second quarter!

Ah, our year has beem chaotic, but it’s been so much fun. I absolutely love what we’re doing this year. I had no idea the year was a quarter over until you pointed it out. My, how time flies when you’re having fun!
